Child Care Program Information: Our New Home

We are looking forward to a new home in the South Slope and will move in late spring/early summer of 2010!

Park Slope Schoolhouse has a wonderful new neighborhood, within one block of the 6/15 Green Community Garden, within four blocks of Prospect Park and 6th Avenue/18th Street playground and extremely convenient to local bus (B63) and subway (M/R) lines in the South Slope. 

The school will occupy the ground floor and lower level of a new modern 5-story building completed in 2009.  The newly constructed base building features high floor to ceiling height, natural lighting in classrooms with operable windows and is fully handicap-accessible. 

The Park Slope Schoolhouse's new program totals approximately 4,500 sq. feet, with a 400 sq. foot outdoor playground, and will accomodate up to 50 students from ages 1-4.  The space will include three early childhood classrooms, an indoor multipurpose/movement room, and amenities to support all aspects of education growth. 
"Green" initiatives in design and opertation are at the forefront of the Center's mission, with regard to indoor air quality, sustainable materials and systems efficiency.
